About VRC

Virtual Reality Chat is a 3D chat application supporting the Internet Relay Chat (IRC) protocol. In addition it supports an own simple chat protocol, too. VRC can be used in 'Walk-Through' or networked mode. In Walk- Through mode, you can enjoy the virtual reality and chat with others using IRC protocol. For networked mode one connects to an existing VRC server and can use both, VRC specific and IRC chat protocol. In networked mode every client is represented by an avatar in the virtual reality.

Supported Platforms

Currently VRC is available on win32 and linux platforms.

System Recommendation

VRC runs well with a P4 ^TM / AMD ^TM 3200+ cpu or better. Your graphics card should support GLSL in order to enjoy the full quality of the virtual reality. You can also run VRC on older systems with decreased quality.
